The Advanced Fire Environment Learning Unit (AFELU) will present new approaches and technologies for fire management planning, predictive services, and fire behavior prediction. Whether you worked on incidents this season or haven’t been out for a while, this webinar will get you up to speed on new developments in fire and weather technology.

For those of you that may have never heard about the AFELU, this group is a subcommittee of the Fire Environment Committee, one of numerous committees that helps the National Wildfire Coordinating Group accomplish its mission. The AFELU offers a supportive network that encourages people to pursue fire analyst specialties, and works with subcommittees such as Fire Behavior and Fire Danger to provide opportunities for continuing education and technology transfer to fire analysts and other specialists. please visit the AFELU webpage to access previous webinars and videos.
