The fuels topic encompasses all things dealing with fuel and fuels treatments.  Subtopics include fuel descriptions, fuel treatments and effects, and fuels inventory and monitory.  These subtopics include descriptions of specific types of fuels to aid the user in matching their fuel types to literature about them.  They also include literature on the results of specific fuel treatments, including mechanical treatments (logging), naturally-ignited fire-use treatments (wildfires of different sizes and fuel origins), prescribed fire-use treatments (fires set by managers to intentionally burn certain areas and/or fuels), and descriptions of areas where fire has been intentionally suppressed for long periods of time.  The fuels topic also includes information on fuels inventory and monitoring to highlight literature on how fuels are being monitored and how fuel conditions change over time.
