From the text ... 'In this article for Fire Management Today, we comment briefly on six themes that stand out in those discussions. Three themes, normalizing, complexity, and failure reaffirm properties originally associated with High Reliability Organizations (HROs). The other three themes, resilience, brutal audits, and updating, represent modifications of some original conclusions. We continue to be struck by the relevance of High Reliability Organizing for the wildland fire community as well as the importance of further opportunities to learn about the nature of this relevance.'
