This session explored emerging pathways for converting forest biomass and other organic feedstocks into higher-value clean energy products, including hydrogen, renewable natural gas, sustainable aviation fuel, and related byproducts. Tom Hobby of Yosemite Clean Energy discussed advanced gasification technologies and the market, policy, and financing conditions needed to make biomass-to-fuel projects viable, while Kevin Blaser of Colusa Indian Energy shared how Tribally owned energy development models can support distributed biomass processing, combined heat and power systems, and long-term Tribal energy sovereignty. This video contains the presentation portion of the webinar. Discussion has been removed.
