The Wyoming Prescribed Fire Council (WY-PFC) officially formed on December 21st, 2018 through the efforts of representatives from private, county, state, and federal entities. The WY-PFC joins over 30 other state Prescribed Fire Councils under the umbrella of the Coalition of Prescribed Fire Councils (http://www.prescribedfire.net/). WY-PFC Mission: 1) To protect the right to burn; 2) To encourage the use of prescribed fire; 3) To promote public understanding of prescribed fire.
