The Wildfire Mitigation Academy and Community Mitigation Assistance Team (CMAT) training is two days of training by national wildfire mitigation subject matter experts on:

1. Mitigation Best Practices - activities that lead to the greatest wildfire risk reduction outcomes and

2. Community Mitigation Assistance Team activities, protocols, and process.

Who should attend:
Mitigation Specialists, Wildfire Program leads and individuals interested in participating in CMAT. Please note - The training is a prerequisite for participation in CMAT. A letter from your supervision supporting your participation in CMAT is required to attend.
