The Fire Effects Monitor (FEMO) workshop from the National Interagency Prescribed Fire Training Center (NIPFTC) provides hands-on training for personnel responsible for documenting fire effects and supporting informed decision-making before, during, and after prescribed fire operations. Participants learn how to collect meaningful observations, apply monitoring methods, interpret results, and communicate findings that help managers evaluate whether fire objectives are being achieved.
