The Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation annual meeting will feature genetics and restoration of whitebark pine on the Pacific Coast with special appearances by foxtail, limber, southwestern, and bristle cone pines. The meeting will have both indoor and outdoor learning sessions in Ashland, Oregon. 

The indoor session will be September 18th at Southern Oregon University featuring panels on -

  • Genomics and landscapes
  • Inventory and monitoring
  • Ecology and restoration


Most outdoor sessions are offered more than once -

  • Crater Lake National Park: September 17 and 19
  • Crater Creek Research Natural Area: September 17
  • Dorena Genetic Resource Center: September 16, 20, and 21
