Register: 2018 Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation Science and Management Workshop

Welcome to the registration page for the 2018 Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation Science and Management Workshop in Stanley, Idaho, September 20-22, 2018. The theme for the workshop is Central Idaho Whitebark Pine: High, Dry and Burned. The first day of the workshop will take place at the Stanley Community Center and will feature presentations and panels on current and developing research and management of whitebark pine (seating limited to 100 people). The second and third days will feature field trips to areas of interest: September 21: All day field trip to Galena Summit and Rainbow Creek Project on the SNRA to discuss recent beetle kill, white pine blister rust planting and thinning treatments. September 22: Morning trip tto discuss growing a partnership to address keeping sustainable populations of whitebark pine on the landscape in the face of severe wildfire and little seed for planting.

Please register below. There is not a registration fee; however, we suggest a donation of $30 for students and $50 USD for other registrants to defray the cost of the workshop. Attendees that donate $50 USD will be offered a new or renewal one-year membership to the Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation at the Whitebark level at no extra cost. Students will be offered a student membership for $30 USD donation. The registration donation may be paid via a secure paypal link after filling out the below registration form, or at the door.
