CANCELED

Communities and Agencies are seeking best practices in recovery that draw upon the experiences, both good and bad, of all who live with and respond to the post-fire landscape. Participants in After The Flames will leave with connections, tools, and resources to best address the post-fire landscape. Areas of discussion include recovery aspects of the environment, social fabric, economic injury, and health impacts, from both the technical and practical perspective.

The After the Flames Conference and Workshop will offer unique networking and professional development opportunities focused on building connections and raising the level of conversation as participants work to plan, act and respond before, during and after wildfire.

Two tracks are featured: (1) Practical tools and techniques for communities, local governments and recovery agencies; (2)Technical discussions for scientists, engineers, trainers and consultants.

After the Flames targets community members, property owners, experts, and agencies seeking best practices that draw on the experiences of all who live with and respond to the post-fire landscape.
