The WGA webinar "Water Quality Concerns in Western Forests and Rangelands" examined wildfire's dramatic effect on water quality in western landscapes including pre- and post-wildfire practices that can reduce impacts on water quality and ecosystem health, and drivers for public-private investment in mitigation and restoration activities. Panelists include: Fawn Bergen, Global Program Manager, Water and Carbon Footprint, Intel Corporation; Bruce Hallin, Director of Water Supply, Salt River Project. (Jonas Feinstein, the State Conservation Forester in Colorado for the Natural Resources Conservation Service, was scheduled to speak but fell ill and could not take part.) This webinar is part of the series for the National Forest and Rangeland Management Initiative, launched by Montana Gov. Steve Bullock in 2016.
